Privacy Policy
Larder · Mise en Go ("the app") is developed and published by Nuttig (KVK: 42128344), a sole proprietorship registered in the Netherlands. This policy explains what data the app collects, how it is used, and your rights as a user.
Stays on your device
Larder · Mise en Go is designed to store your data locally on your device. The following data never leaves your phone:
- Pantry items and stock levels you enter
- Recipes you import or add manually
- Fresh This Week items
- App preferences and settings
Because this data lives entirely on your device, uninstalling the app or clearing local app storage permanently removes it. You can back up your data anytime using the Google Drive backup feature.
Sent to our servers
Import quota identifier
To manage the included recipe import allowance, the app generates an anonymous device identifier and sends it to our server each time you import a recipe. This identifier is a randomly generated string tied to your device installation. It is not linked to your name, email address, or any personal information. It is stored on our server solely to track the number of imports used.
This identifier is retained on our server to enforce the import limit. To request deletion of your device identifier from our server, contact hello@misego.app.
AI recipe restructuring
When you import a recipe, the recipe text is sent to Anthropic’s API to restructure it into mise en place format. This means the text of the recipe is processed by Anthropic’s servers. No personal information, pantry data, or account data is included in this request. Anthropic’s privacy policy applies to this processing: anthropic.com/privacy.
By using the recipe import feature, you consent to recipe text being sent to Anthropic for processing.
Google Drive backup
If you choose to enable the optional backup feature, your pantry and recipe data is exported as a single JSON file and saved to your personal Google Drive account. This data is stored under your own Google account and is not accessible to Nuttig. You may delete this backup at any time from your Google Drive.
Analytics and tracking
The app does not collect analytics, crash reports, usage statistics, or any other telemetry. We do not track how you use the app.
Advertising
The app contains no advertising of any kind.
Third-party services
The app uses the following third-party services:
- Anthropic API - recipe text restructuring (see above)
- Google Drive API - optional backup only, under your own Google account
- Google Play - app distribution; Google’s own privacy policy applies to purchases
Your rights
Under GDPR, if you are located in the European Union, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of any personal data we hold about you. The only data we hold server-side is your anonymous device identifier. To exercise any of these rights, contact hello@misego.app.
Children’s privacy
The app is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
